She was in this movie about Merlot versus Pinot Noir or whatever... Sideways. She was also Patti - the sterile lesbian in Under the Tuscan Sun.
Now she plays the ultra-competitive, self-loathing Dr. Cristina Yang, an resident on that ABC show, Grey's Anatomy. For some reason, Sandra Oh's character doesn’t have a soul and appears to be constipated. She got a Golden Globe award and a SAG Award for her role.
She married that guy who directed that Sideways movie, Alexander Payne. They divorced in 2006.
On top of everything else, Sandra Oh is a Canadian!

You may be wondering, “Why make a mean-spirited, hateful website about some acclaimed actress with a nice personality? Who cares if she doesn’t conform to Western standards of beauty? Are you racist, you racist hater?”
Because Sandra Oh is ugly. Not just by Western standards, but by all tastes. Okay, People Magazine did vote her as one the “50 Most Beautiful People” of 2005. That’s right - she’s been placed in the same ranks as Jessica Alba, Ziyi Zhang, Heidi Klum, and Alicia Keys.
So... maybe we’re just super-biased against Sandra Oh. But for every second that she’s on TV, some other hotter Asian woman is being denied a chance at stardom. Sandra Oh isn’t being fair to the Asian community. If anything, she’s the racist. Against her own kind, no less.
We really don’t have anything personal against Sandra Oh. To be quite fair, we're shitty actors ourselves. We’re just jealous of all her special treatment.
At any rate, she’s still known for her nice personality, right? Surely this website is not getting beneath her skin.
